If you are not careful, you can be putting down the roots and work from sun up to sundown with no success. You have to make sure that the soil is conducive to planting if you want to see success after all your hard work.
  2. Learn about the tiny things about planting, they might not seem much but in retrospect you would realize that all those tiny things made the difference. So, make sure that you are able to have that. Make sure to know your way around fertilizers, frost dates, pesticides and many more.
  3. Make sure to mulch your garden. You can achieve a great purpose with mulch, keeping away the weeds. Add at least 2- 3 inch-deep mulch around your plants to keep weeds out of the way.
  4. Know your weather patterns. It is important that you know your weather patterns especially if your location is as locomotive as the turbulent wind from the ocean. You want to be planting the right plants in the area you are in. If not, you will find yourself in for a lot of unsuccessful attempts.
